About Storm Haven Haflingers Storm Haven Farm is a breeder of registered Haflinger horses. Through much research, help from our Haflingers friends, and members of the IHHA, we embarked upon breding different lines and have arrived at our current program, all the while looking for the correct conformation, movement, performance, and most importantly, temperament. We believe we have achieved an exceptional type of Haflinger that we enjoy riding, driving and more than anything - just being around, and having as part of our family. Based upon our acquiring and breeding of excellent Austrian A-D (Archimedes x Devia and Amadeus x Donella) line mares to a Winterstein stallion line (Waltzertak), we believe we have achieved a very nice cross. Thus, the beginning of our present breeding program. Currently we are very pleased with the type and "personalities" of our horses. We hope to continue breeding and achieve our goal of providing great all around family oriented Haflinger horses.
